Strong passwords are generally long, unique and difficult to guess. Using a mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols increases the number of possible combinations. Avoid using easily guessed information such as names, birthdays, addresses or common words.

This generator creates a character pool from the options you select and then uses your browser's Web Crypto API to obtain cryptographically strong random values. Those values are used to select characters from the pool until the requested password length is reached. Because the generation happens locally in your browser, the calculator does not need to send the generated password to a server.
